mosaic_pieces_icon_small.png Mosaic Pieces are collections in Dragon Age: Inquisition. Each of the five mosaic sets has been broken into 12 pieces that you can recover. The sets are: Sacrifice, Invasion, The Fall, Archdemon, and Freed Are Slaves. Each set has been broken up into 12 pieces. You may view the finished scenes on the walls of the main fortress in Skyhold.

The Fall is a Collection in Dragon Age: Inquisition. Collections are objects dispersed around the world that the player must gather to add to a set.

Where to Find The Fall Mosaic Pieces

Each of the twelve pieces of The Fall Mosaic Collection can be found in The Hinterlands. As you collect each piece of this mosaic golden colored mosaic tiles will begin to appear on the left wall as you make your way up to where Vivienne's quarters are inside of Skyhold keep. If you are looking at the golden mosaic tiles on the wall in Skyhold and trying to sort out which pieces you are missing and where to go to pick them up, a video dedicated to that end can be found .

  1. This piece is located atop the Western Tower inside Grand Forest Villa (a.k.a The Mercenary Fortress). A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found .
  2. This piece is located inside Valammar. You'll find this inside a locked office across the bridge where you encounter the two Carta members battling a Darkspawn. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found .
  3. This piece is located inside the Vault in Valammar. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found .
  4. This piece can be found resting against the outside wall of a house near Lake Luthias just southwest of the Upper Lake Camp. This is also the house where you will encounter and recruit Blackwall. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found .
  5. This piece is located atop a tower inside the keep you find near the Lornan's Exile landmark in the Winterwatch Tower region. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found .
  6. This piece is located inside a locked, broken down house north of the Upper Lake Camp and southeast of the Fort Connor landmark. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found .
  7. This piece is located inside the fort in which the Fort Connor landmark is located. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found .
  8. This piece is located in the first house on your right as you enter Redcliffe Farms when starting from Redcliffe Farms Camp. This is also near the board upon which you find the quest Where The Druffalo Roam posted. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found .
  9. This piece is located inside the Veilfire cave located northwest of Redcliffe Farms in Dead Ram Grove. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found .
  10. This piece is located on the lower level of the Veilfire cave located northwest of Redcliffe Farms in Dead Ram Grove. Just keep going down after you pick up number 9. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found .
  11. This piece is located northeast of the Crossroads, atop a broken down tower that is also southwest of the Blood Brothers quest. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found .
  12. This piece is located in a small alcove out in Wolf Hollow. This is the same location where Master Denet's wife sends you on your quest to deal with the wolves (Trouble With Wolves). A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found .

Where to Freed Are Slaves Mosaic Pieces

Each of the twelve pieces of the Freed Are Slaves Mosaic Collection can be found in scattered throughout The Fallow Mire (1), Forbidden Oasis (1), Crestwood (5), The Western Approach (2), the Lost Temple of Dirthamen (2) and the Cradle of Sulevin (1). As you collect each piece of this mosaic golden colored mosaic tiles will begin to appear on the right wall as you make your way up to where Vivienne's quarters are inside of Skyhold keep. Crestwood (5)

  1. This piece is located behind a Bash wall inside the Flooded Caves. If you stand facing the room that had/has the rift in it, the Bash wall is to your right. You'll need a warrior with you in order to break down the wall. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found here.

  2. This piece is located on a large stone table that you will run across as you are exiting the Flooded Caves after you finish up the Still Waters quest. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found here.

  3. This piece is located on a wooden table that you come across after exiting the Flooded Caves and climbing up several ladders. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found here.

  4. This piece is located inside a room within Caer Bronach keep. You'll only gain access to this room after you have captured the keep. If you stand facing the vendor the door to this room is back and to the right. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found here.

  5. This piece is located inside a cave found along Old Market Road just south of the Village of Crestood. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found here.


The Fallow Mire (1)

  1. This piece is located behind a locked door that requires the Inquisition Perk Deft Hands, Fine Tools. The door is inside the keep that you find southwest of the 4th beacon and it is also the location for completing the quest Lost Souls. Forbidden Oasis (1)

  1. In order to find this piece you want to head down to the bottom of the Spiral Mine, out across the walkway towards the Temple of Solosan (The Temple of Pride), past the temple you will find a entrance on your left. Head inside and the piece will be in a small alcove a few feet ahead on your left. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found here.


The Western Approach (2)

  1. This piece is located inside The Still Ruins behind a locked door that requires the Inquisition Perk Deft Hands, Fine Tools. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found here.

  2. This piece is located inside Coracavus behind a locked door that requires the Inquisition Perk Deft Hands, Fine Tools. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found here.


Cradle of Sulevin (1)

  1. Head into the ruins and once in the main chamber hang a right and go into the northern chamber (Starlight Chambers). Head towards the north wall and you'll find a locked door that requires the Inquisition Perk Deft Hands, Fine Tools. Behind this door you will find your mosaic piece. Lost Temple of Dirthamen (2)

  1. This piece is located behind a frost barrier in the northern corridor of the ruins. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece and how to unlock the Lost Temple of Dirthamen can be found here.

  2. This piece is located behind a magically sealed door that only opens after you have defeated The Highest One for the quest God of Secrets. A video showing the location of this mosaic piece and how to unlock the Lost Temple of Dirthamen can be found here.

Where to Find Invasion Mosaic Pieces


Each of the twelve pieces of the Invasion Mosaic Collection can be found scattered throughout the Exalted Plains (5) and the Emerald Graves (7). As you collect each piece of this mosaic golden colored mosaic tiles will begin to appear on the front right wall, if you stand facing the doorway leading out of Skyhold keep. Exalted Plains (5)

  1. This piece can be found sitting on a carved stone hand near The Dead Hand landmark. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found here.

  2. This piece can be found inside The Dead Hand dungeon. Once you enter the main room of the dungeon, the piece is found in a small alcove on the left side of the room. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found here.

  3. This piece can be in the Ancient Baths. When you enter the area head all the way back towards the water and it will be found to your right sitting on the docks. The Ancient Baths are located west of the Dalish camp. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found here.

  4. This piece can be found by heading north out of the Path of Flame Camp and then west towards the Ocularum. Once you get to the broken down houses go past the first red house and the piece is located up a small mountain path on your left near a campfire. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found here.

  5. This piece can be found inside the final chamber in Unadin Grotto. Unadin Grotto is located south of the Dalish camp near the Var Bellanaris landmark. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found here.


Emerald Graves (7)

  1. This piece can be found sitting behind a few boxes inside the main chamber of the Veridium Mine where you go to complete the quest A Fallen Sister. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found here.

  2. This piece is found inside a Personal Store room (adjacent to the Study) in the Villa Maurel. A warrior is required to break the wall to gain access to this room. The piece is to the found immediately on your right upon entering. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found here.

  3. This piece is found inside Argon's Lodge sitting on a makeshift table in the room to the left of the log pile. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found here.

  4. This piece can be found to the right of the entrance to Din'an Hanin. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found here.

  5. This piece can be found inside Din'an Hanin on a bench (top level, left side) of the Knight's Hall. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found here.

  6. This piece can be found inside Chateau d'Onterre. You'll need to head up the stairs through the library and then into the section where the bedrooms are. You'll find an open window, overlooking the courtyard, that you'll jump through and the piece will be on a landing just outside the window.   7. This piece can be found inside Chateau d'Onterre. You'll need to complete the quest in this zone to gain access to the Grand Balcony. Once out on the balcony there is a locked door that you will need a rogue with you to unlock as well as the Inquisition Perk Deft Hands, Fine Tools. Where to Find The Archdemon Mosaic Pieces

Each of the twelve pieces of The Archdemon Mosaic Collection can be found in The Western Approach. As you collect each piece of this mosaic golden colored mosaic tiles will begin to appear on the right wall, if you stand facing the doorway leading out of of Skyhold keep. If you are looking at the golden mosaic tiles on the wall in Skyhold and trying to sort out which pieces you are missing and where to go to pick them up, a video dedicated to that end can be found here. Keep in mind there is currently a graphical/tracking bug for this colleciton so that even after you have collected all 12 pieces the 12th piece will not appear on the wall in Skyhold.

  1. This piece is located inside Sand Rock Mine. (The first cave you come to heading south and then west from the Lost Spring Canyon Camp). A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found here.

  3. This piece is located inside Echoback Fort. This is also the location for tracking down Servis for the quest The Trouble With Darkspawn. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found here.

  4. This piece is located inside a small chamber located behind the area in which you fight the Abyssal High Dragon. You'll find this area south of Nazire's Pass Camp. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found here.

  5. This piece is located inside the same chamber as #4. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found here.

  6. This piece is located inside a cave near a camp that is just south of #'s 4 and 5. This is also the final location of the quest On The Chantry Trail. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found here.

  7. This piece is located inside the Astrarium cave just east of Craggy Ridge Camp. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found here.

  8. This piece is located near The Old Well landmark underneath Griffon Wing Keep. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found here.

  9. This piece is located inside a cave northeast of Craggy Ridge Camp. The cave is maked by Thing in the Dark landmark. In order to gain access to this cave you'll need to complete the War Table Operation named Crossing the Sulphur Pits. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found here.

  10. This piece can be found west of Craggy Ridge camp in the Abyssal Ledge region and beneath the Hidden Stairway landmark. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found here.

  11. This piece can be found north and slightly east of of Nazaire's Pass Camp down inside a cave in Lost Wash Creek near the Lost Idol landmark. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found here.

  12. This piece is located under a tent in a small Venatori camp located southwest of Echo Back Canyon Camp. A video showing the exact location of this piece can be found here.

  1. This piece is located inside a small gazebo near the Ocularum located west and slightly south of Sunstop Mountain Camp. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found here.

  2. Inside the main Venatori Camp located past the rift that you find by going out the east side entrance of Sunstop Mountain Camp and heading down the mountain. This one is located on a bench near a campfire. This is also close a Bottle of Thedas. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found here.

  3. Out the rear exit of the main Ventori Camp where you found #2. This piece will be found near another campfire to the right of a large Dwarven statue. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found here.

  4. This piece is located at the bottom of the final ladder that you use to descend into the Mountain Fortress Tomb. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found here.

  5. This piece is located behind the sealed door that you unlock after completing the Veilfire puzzle inside the Mountain Fortress Tomb. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece and how to complete the puzzle can be found here.

  7. This piece is located near The Oasis landmark in The Golden Oasis region that is north and slightly west of The Canyon Camp. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found here.

  8. This piece is located behind the sealed door that you unlock after completing the Veilfire puzzle outside the Burial Grounds Tomb that is south and slightly east of the Logging Camp and near the Empty Square landmark.   9. This piece is located behind the sealed door that you unlock after completing the Veilfire puzzle inside the Statue Tomb that is northeast of Statue Camp. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic and how to complete the puzzle can be found here.

  10. This piece is located inside a Ruin that is southwest of The Canyon Camp. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic can be found here.

  11. This piece is located behind the sealed door that you unlock after completing the Veilfire puzzle inside the Canyon Tomb, located in the V shaped canyon you find northeast of the Logging Camp. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece and how to complete the puzzle can be found here.

  12. This piece is located inside the Tomb of Fairel. The tomb is found east of Sand Crags camp. In order to gain access to this tomb you will need to have gathered the key fragments from all of the other tombs. Also be warned there is a dragon in this area, however you can walk around the perimeter to avoid it. A video showing the exact location of this mosaic piece can be found here.
