Way of the Templar is a Specialization quest of Dragon Age 3: Inquisition. It initiates by speaking with Ser in the Skyhold courtyard after completing the Specializations for the Inquisitor War Table Operation. You must collect 50 Embrium and 3 Broken Philters from the 3 locations listed below. They are NOT random drops, but instead drop from 3 specific enemies. Once you've collected the above materials you must craft the Philter at an "Inspect Requisitions" bench.
Construct a philter, study the methods of the templars, and Ser will reveal the secrets of this legendary specialization. Reclaim the Broken Philters of fallen templars from demons at: 1 in Witchwood, 1 in the West Road, and 1 in Lady Shayna's Valley in The Hinterlands. Readings can be found among the belongings of Cassandra: Find Cassandra in Skyhold, then look to the right and enter the building with stairs to its left, the first floor is a forge. Go up the inner stairs two levels and you'll see a bright green deer marking on the wall next to the book. If those are unavailable, among the wares of the book merchant in Val Royeaux.
