Inquisitor Missions are operations related to main story events in Dragon Age: Inquisition. Below is a list of missions available, their condition and outcomes.

Player is a Rift Mage, Inquisition Rank 8 or higher

Your Trainer would like to send her research notes to the Mages' Collective. Both Leliana and Cullen would prefer her notes not leave Skyhold. Josephine approves of working with the Collective. Choose Cullen or Leliana, as you will never hear back from the Collective if you send them the research.

Reclaiming the Mage Rebellion (15 min)

Complete In Hushed Whispers, allied with mages

Fiona gives the Inquisition the locations of a few hidden cells of rebel mages to bring them into the fold.

Reparations for Redcliffe (60 min)

Reclaiming the Mage Rebellion completed, either Here Lies the Abyss or Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts done

Arl Teagan of Redcliffe would like the Inquisition to take responsibility for all the stuff the mage rebellion wrecked in his arling while they were staying there.

Okay, now that all that unpleasantness is over, Teagan issues the Inquisition an invitation to participate in a tournament on his lands for the chance to win a bannorn of your very own. Select a champion to act on your behalf.

Information from the Grand Enchanter (15 min)

Completed In Hushed Whispers, took mages as prisoners and reached Skyhold.

Some of the mages from Redcliffe attacked Inquisition guards during an escape attempt. You decide how to deal with them.

Information from the Grand Enchanter completed, either Here Lies the Abyss or Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts done.

Leliana's agents locate a cell of rebel mages building explosives. Have Cullen wipe them out, or let Leliana bring them in alive for questioning.

Negotiate with Hasmal's Templars (15 min)

Available in Skyhold. Took templars as prisoners in Champions of the Just.

There are rumors of blood mages in the Wending Wood. The Inquisition can investigate. Completing this operation will open False Accusations and then Confront Mages in the Wending Wood.

Available after Here Lies the Abyss, but only if you chose to exile the Grey Wardens.

Use Cullen to send troops to engage the darkspawn directly.

Use Josephine to bring in allies and attack the darkspawn with a larger force.

Complete Drive Darkspwn from Val Gamord.

Use Leliana to send in scouts to search the mines without altering the darkspawn.

Protect Val Gamord from Darkspawn (15 min)

Available after Here Lies the Abyss, but only if you chose to ally with the Grey Wardens.

If you send the Grey Wardens immediately as Cullen suggests, you save the town and the wardens take few casualties. With Leliana a lot of people and wardens get hurt too. With Josephine the town is completely destroyed and the wardens take heavy casualties.

Find Source of Darkspawn Attacks (15 min)

Complete Protect Val Gamord from Darkspawn.

If you choose Leliana to send scouts first, the Grey Wardens barely take any loses and will be in high spirits. Otherwise their morale will remain high, but they will be taken by surprise and take more losses.

Pursue Marquise Bouffon (60 min)

Complete Find Source of Darkspawn Attacks.

Choose Leliana to find an alternate pass through the mountains, thus the Grey Wardens taking few losses and remaining in high spirits. On Cullen's advice, the Grey Warden fight their way through taking some losses but reaching the Marquise's stronghold. Josephine's "ally" turns on you, since her forces ally with the Marquise and thus the Grey Wardens take heavy losses.

Defeat Marquise Bouffon (60 min)

Complete Purse Marquise Bouffon.

Choose Josephine to have an allied noble siege the stronghold instead, while the wardens keep the demons at bay and take some losses, but their morale remains high. With Leliana although the wardens gain covert entry, they have to face Venatori, and take some losses, but their morale remains high. Cullen suggests a head-on battle, which leads to heavy casualties on the wardens' side.

Destroy Darkspawn Outbreak (1440 min)

Complete Defeat Marquise Bouffon.

In either case, the outcome is the same: the tunnels are collapsed and the darkspawn destroyed, after which the surviving wardens remain there to patrol the area.

Ser Barris Operation Chain

Save Val Colline from the Venatori (60 min)

Ser Barris must survive Champions of the Just. And take the Templar's as alies

The city of Val Colline is being attacked by the Venatori. Ser Barris will take some templars to help counter their spells. You may choose any specialist, but Leliana will complete this operation fastest.

Have Ser Barris Lead Against Demons (90 min)

Completed Save Val Colline from the Venatori.

Ser Barris has received a request for help from an old friend in Ansburg. Demons are crossing the veil and attacking people in the city. Dispatch Barris and templars to fight the demonic invasion. You may choose any specialist, but Cullen will complete this operation fastest.

Investigate Man Accused of Abomination (120 min)

Completed Have Ser Barris Lead Against Demons.

A man in Jader has been accused of being an abomination. Send Ser Barris to investigate whether or not this is true. You may choose any specialist, but Josephine will complete this operation fastest. After it's complete, if there are no judgments waiting, the next time you click on the Inquisitor's throne you will get a scene where Ser Barris is promoted to Knight Commander of the templars.
