Oculara are skull-shaped monuments hidden throughout Thedas. Their vision is fixed in hidden shards that can be highlighted with an ocularum, revealing them on your map for you to approach and add to your collection.
Oculara can locate shards in the world. When an ocularum can no longer see any shards, it stops glowing. Use R (ps4) to look around. Focusing on a shard will mark it on your map.
