Way of the Necromancer is a Specialization quest of Dragon Age 3: Inquisition. It initiates by speaking with Viuus Anaxas in the Skyhold courtyard after completing the Specializations for the Inquisitor War Table Operation. You must collect 20 Bloodstone and 3 Nevarran Skulls from the 3 locations listed below. They are NOT random drops, but instead drop from 3 specific enemies. Once you've collected the above materials you must craft the Jeweled Skull at an "Inspect Requisitions" bench.
Adorn a skull in jewels, study the art of necromancy, and Viuus Anaxas will reveal the secrets of the Nevarran death mages. Destroy undead to gain Nevarran Skulls at: 1 in Apostate's Landing, 1 in Small Grove, and 1 in Storm's Solitude in The Storm Coast. Readings can be found among the belongings of Dorian or, if those are unavailable, the wares of the book merchant in Val Royeaux.
