Quest Items in Dragon Age 3: Inquisition are important or needed for quests or to start it. They cannot be sold to a vendor and don't show up in the list of valuables when in the "Sell" section of vendor menus.

Dwarven Vase	Can be looted in the Hissing Wastes and the Deep Roads.
Expensive Dog Treats	Looted from various areas around the Winter Palace. Requires Trespasser DLC.
Fereldan Medallion of Service	Used for quest: Artifact Requisition in the Mire
Malachite	Loot. Three Malachite can be found in a chest north of Fereldan Frostback in the Hinterlands on the boat.
Orders	Begins the quest The Mercenary Fortress
Silver Ring	Used in the quest Montbelliard's Ring.
Spider Eggs	Used in Spider Requisition in the Oasis
Spider Ichor	Used in Antivenom Requisition on the Coast. Used in Spider Requisition in the Oasis
Torn Page	Unlocks Codex entry: Journal of Gurd Harofsen. Requires Jaws of Hakkon DLC.
