Items in Dragon Age 3: Inquisition are divided into several categories depending on their usage and objective. Below are lists of all the items in the game.

Potions are an important part of combat preparedness in Dragon Age 3: Inquisition. They are subdivided into Potions (health recovery and magic buff), Tonics (resistance and damage buffs) and Grenades (aoe projectiles with differing effects). You may upgrade any potion, tonic or grenade by using the herbs you have obtained in your adventuring.

Healing Potion

Instantly restores 385 health.
Costs: Replenishes when you return to camp.
You get this recipe automatically.

Regeneration Potion

Restores 26 health every two seconds for 60 seconds.
Costs: 1 Elfroot
Fully upgraded costs: 1 Elfroot and 2 Rashvines
You'll receive this recipe when talk to the Aran in the Apothecary in Haven

Lyrium Potion

Increases Magic by 30 for 20 seconds.
Costs: 1 Elfroot
Talk to Aran in the Apothecary in Haven. Complete the quest: Passing Notes

Fire Resistance Tonic

Grants a 40 percent resistance against fire damage for 120 seconds.
Costs: 1 Spindleweed

Cold Resistance Tonic

Grants a 40 percent resistance against cold damage for 120 seconds.

Mighty Offense Tonic

(Can only be used by Warrior)
Applies a +13 damage bonus for 20 seconds.
Costs: 1 Elfroot
There's a rebel mage wandering around in The Storm Coast. Kill him and loot a glowing key from him which will start the A Glowing Key quest. Go inside the house and unlock the door in the back. Downstairs is a chest with the recipe.

Rock Armor Tonic

Grants a +12 bonus to armor rating for 30 seconds.
Costs: 1 Elfroot
Find the location in Sketch of Calenhad's Foothold in The Hinterlands

Tears of the Dead

(Can only be used by Rogue)
The next three hits inflict poison on the target, causing 44 damage per second for 15 seconds. The poison remains on the weapon for 10 seconds before expiring.
Costs: 1 Blood Lotus
Complete the quest Beneath the Mire in The Fallow Mire

Pitch Grenade

Coats the target location with pitch, which remains for 60 seconds, slowing any enemies that enter it.
Costs: 1 Blood Lotus
Valammar (requires Warrior to break wall)

Confusion Grenade

Enemies within the area of effect will attack other enemies for 20 seconds.

During the Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts main story mission you'll need to climb a white railing and go into off-limit space. Go inside the door in front of you and use Ping to find a book switch on the bookshelves on the left. Activate it and go inside the secret room. Lit a Veilfire Torch from the Veilfire on the wall and go back to the previous room. You'll see 3 statues on your left and 3 on your right. Go to the left one at the back and light it. Now light the one next to it and the one next to that one. When facing the other 3 fires, light the left one first, than the middle one and finally the right one. All flames should be lit and blue if done correctly and a secret entrance will open in the floor. Go downstairs and loot the box on the right to find the recipe.
  • Increase Duration I: Increases duration by 10 seconds.
  • Increase Duration II: Increases duration by 10 seconds.
  • Rage I: Confused targets now deal 25 percent extra damage.
  • Rage II: The damage bonus while confused is increased by 25 percent.
  • Mind Wreck: All targets suffer 635 spirit damage when the effect wears off.

Antivan Fire

Spreads sticky fire at the target location, causing 23 burning damage every second to enemies inside the fire. The fire remains for 30 seconds.

Healing Mist

Creates a small healing mist in the target area, instantly healing allies within for 289 health.

Keep Caer Bronach in Crestwood. Go to where the tents and potions tables etc are. There's a door right next to the requisitions table. Enter it and go all the way downstairs into the water. A giantic spider called Snowball will spawn. Kill it and loot it to receive the recipe.
  • Increase Healing I: Increases healing amount by 38.
  • Increase Healing II: Increases healing amount by 50.
  • Healing Mist: Healing Mist can restore unconscious party members as well as heal them.

Jar of Bees

Summons a swarm of bees at the target location for 30 seconds. The swarm attacks the first enemy that comes near it, for 163 damage per second for 15 seconds. A target affected by the swarm has a 10 percent chance every second to become panicked.
Costs: 1 Blood Lotus
When you go to Val Royeaux the first time, an arrow will be shot into the ground. Examine the arrow to receive a quest. This quest will lead you to companion Sera. Complete the quest and invite Sera to join the inquisition. This will give you the Red Jenny: Inquisition Needs Beeees! operation. Go to the War Table and on the Fereldan side complete the operation to receive the recipe.

Valuables are items in Dragon Age 3: Inquisition that are either used for research at the Research Table (they show yellow on your inventory) or to be sold to vendors.

Quest Items in Dragon Age 3: Inquisition are important or needed for quests or to start it. They cannot be sold to a vendor and don't show up in the list of valuables when in the "Sell" section of vendor menus.

Creature Research is undertaken at the Research Table in either Haven or Skyhold. The original location of this table is in Haven, by Josephine's Desk, and next to an elven apprentice mage that will explain its function to you and share her story.

This page lists items that can be researched as well as their corresponding creature codex and bonus. After turning in 3 items you will receive a bonus towards an Enemy type. You can see if you obtained the bonus by viewing the card of that creature in the codex - the second square on the top right corner will be lit and also a text at the bottom of the creature description will indicate you obtained a bonus against that type of enemy.
